Our camp will be ‘deployed’ in a private bungalow in the heart of Truskavets—a picturesque spa town at the Carpathian foothills offering miscellaneous entertainment, recreation, and health care options. Our town is famous all across Ukraine and Europe thanks to Naftusia, a healing mineral water that we use in a variety of medical treatment procedures.
Our bungalow—which we call The Old House—was built in the early 1900s of oak wood, clay, straw, and plastered with lime—and, most recently, we have refurbished it! We have upgraded the bungalow’s facilities by adding four new shower rooms with under floor heating, a newly fitted kitchen, and installed wooden floors throughout the interior. To the best of our ability, we have managed to preserve original materials, décor, and the natural cosiness of the space—as well as the greenery of the environs. There are 3 bedrooms, a kitchen and a big living room with a wood burning stove.
Outside, there is a spacious garden with outdoor furniture and a wooden canopy. The yard is properly fenced with secured gates in place.
